The cottage was spotless and well presented, with thoughtful extra touches such as fresh eggs, milk, and cookies provided. the beds were comfortable and the shower was fantastic. the location was excellent, with a short 5-minute walk to the bus stop for easy access to York. the hosts, Helen and Patrick, were friendly and welcoming.

Greeted by hosts who held parking space, fresh eggs, milk, and cookies provided. Clean, cosy cottage recommended. Excellent location for bars, restaurants, and nearby attractions. Good communication, welcome gift, well-presented cottage, and lovely outdoor garden area.

the cottage, called Milliner'S Cottage, was comfortable, homely, and impeccably clean. the owners, Helen and Patrick, were fantastic hosts, making us feel incredibly welcome. They even went the extra mile by leaving us some thoughtful extras like eggs, milk, coffee, and biscuits upon our arrival. the attention to detail was exceptional, with towels, shower gel, and even wood logs for the fire provided. I accidentally left my phone charger behind, and the owners kindly posted it back to me. a fantastic stay with exceptional hosts. Cons: Nothing, everything was excellent. 👍.

The cottage was clean, tidy, and welcoming. Patrick and Helen, the hosts, were extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and polite. Pocklington, the village where the cottage is located, is beautiful and offers plenty of entertainment. There are great places to eat and drink, and the cottage is well situated for visiting nearby attractions such as York, Whitby, and Scarborough.
Felt exceptional, no complaints whatsoever.

Our stay at the cottage was amazing. The attention to detail and little extras provided made it feel like a home away from home. The cottage was incredibly clean and well-presented, and the hosts, Helen and Patrick, were very welcoming. Our children loved the toys in the cupboard and the Apple tree outside their bedroom window. The location in Pocklington was picturesque, and there were plenty of activities to enjoy nearby. We especially appreciated the comfortable beds and fantastic shower. We will definitely be back in the winter to enjoy the beautiful log burning fire.

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy, clean house with attentive hosts. The beds were comfy, the kitchen and bathroom were clean, and we even arrived to find milk in the fridge and freshly laid eggs. The house was beautifully decorated with personal touches. We also appreciated the games and toys for the kids. it felt like a home away from home. We would definitely stay again.

The car parking situation was a bit of a hassle. We were lucky to have a space on arrival, but the owners couldn't secure one for us the next day.

The cottage had excellent communication from the owners and they even saved a parking spot for us. They left a welcome gift of milk and eggs, which was a nice touch. The cottage was well-presented, clean, and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay, and the outdoor garden area with fairy lights was a great space to relax.
We ordered Chinese from a local restaurant and it was absolutely revolting!

We loved how well equipped the cottage was for a family, with everything we needed at our fingertips. Plus, the area had so much to offer in terms of attractions and activities. We wish we could have stayed longer to explore even more!
As for the negative aspects, there really isn't much to dislike. the only thing I can think of is that there was some road noise in the mornings, but it didn't bother us much.

Stayed at a wonderful, spotlessly clean and cosy cottage in an ideal location to explore the beautiful surroundings. Beds were good, shower was fantastic. All the little extras like freshly laid eggs, milk, and chocolates were amazing. Attention to detail was impeccable with frames on the walls and toys for our daughter. Very welcoming hosts. Would definitely recommend.
